Roneil Kumar is a Master’s student in AI Management and Policy at Purdue University. His interests revolve around the intersection of learning and AI, emphasizing ethical AI, the sociotechnical impacts of emerging technologies, and workforce readiness in the age of AI.

He also holds a Master of Education in Learning Design and Technology from Purdue and Bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Philosophy from Sacramento State University. His academic interests focus on the intersection of learning and artificial intelligence, emphasizing ethical AI, workforce readiness, and the sociotechnical impacts of emerging technologies.

With over a decade of professional experience in corporate Learning & Development, Roneil has designed and led training programs across the technology, finance, lending, and healthcare sectors. His current focus is on upskilling and reskilling employees impacted by AI, as well as advising executive leaders on the ethical deployment and governance of AI. He is eager to expand his expertise and research by examining how organizations and societies can adopt AI responsibly while encouraging human learning and development.
