Mikil is a fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in Engineering Science, specializing in Energy Science and Technology, at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He is also part of NUS College, the university's honors college program. He is interested in the intersection of technology and society, with particular focus on how technological innovations reshape labor markets and inform policy decisions. At GRAIL, he works on the interdisciplinary project examining technological changes and work, contributing to systematic literature reviews across multiple fields to understand how AI is transforming employment outcomes and skills demands. Mikil brings diverse research experience from internships at the A*STAR Institute of High Performance Computing (plasma physics modeling), NUS Singapore Nuclear Research and Safety Initiative (nuclear safety analysis), and GEM@EPFL (materials science research). His interdisciplinary coursework includes policy analysis, machine learning, and science-society studies, complementing his technical engineering background.
