Kunal Rustagi

Kunal is a recent graduate from the University of California, San Diego, with a Master's degree in Data Science and Machine Learning, driven by a passion for using AI to automate processes and extract meaningful insights. Along with what he has learned in school, he has worked at top healthcare and technology companies like Moderna and ZS Associates, where he solved problems involving big, complicated datasets. He is technically proficient across the data science stack, with strong skills in Python, R, SQL, and Tableau, allowing him to manage, analyze, and visualize data effectively.

Currently at GRAIL, Kunal contributes to the AI Share initiative by developing intuitive dashboards that help researchers visualize and interpret critical data. Beyond his formal role, he takes a great personal interest in experimenting with various AI models to understand their capabilities and limitations. Kunal is keen on continuously advancing his skillset in lockstep with the rapid development in the AI field, with the goal of integrating it into his day-to-day work to drive innovation and efficiency.
