Ayusha Patra is an undergraduate student in Computer Science at Purdue University, with concentrations in Security and Databases and a minor in Computer and Information Technology. Her research interests include AI governance, information integrity, cybersecurity, and the societal impacts of emerging technologies.
At GRAIL, Ayusha works on the Political Deepfakes Incidents Database (PDID), contributing to both its research and technical development. She has developed PDID’s public-facing data portal, supported its data infrastructure, and led technical work across the project. Her research also examines information-integrity incident response, particularly how political deepfake incidents are verified, attributed, contained, and addressed after detection.
