Executive Summary
This study investigates the factors surrounding the adoption and legitimization of artificial intelligence by international organizations. It focuses on two key case studies, including the United Nation's Project Jetson and the World Food Programme's SKAI. Empirically, we leverage a novel corpus of organizational documents related to our cases and elite interviews with organizational staff and AI experts.
