Zeewan Lee is an Assistant Professor at National University of Singapore, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. Zeewan's recent work centers on economics of aging, examining the impact of technologies, changing skill demands, as well as pension and Social Security rules on the employability and labor market outcomes of older workers.
Zeewan Lee is a tenure-track Assistant Professor at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore. She received her Ph.D. in public policy and management from Price School, University of Southern California, in 2020, a M.S. in regional science from Cornell University, and a B.A. in political science from Duke University.Zeewan's research lies at the intersection of economics of aging and labor. She is interested in individuals' labor supply decisions in the face of population aging. Specifically, Zeewan conducts applied microeconomics research on the institutional and non-institutional factors that shape aging individuals' work and retirement decisions. In doing so, Zeewan's focus lies on the role of technological changes, skills, pension/Social Security, and immigration.
