Chee Hae is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Political Science at Purdue University, conducting research at the Governance and Responsible AI Lab (GRAIL) and the Computational Social Science (CSS) Lab . Her work explores the disruptive challenges of emerging digital technologies across political science, public administration, and law. At GRAIL, she contributes to projects on AI governance, digital sovereignty, AI ethics, and regulatory governance, focusing on how technological innovation reshapes institutions and policy frameworks.
Chee Hae is a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the Governance and Responsible AI Lab (GRAIL) and the Computational Social Science (CSS) Lab at Purdue University. Her research examines the disruptive challenges posed by emerging digital technologies across political science, public administration, and law. Her scholarly contributions, including peer-reviewed journal articles and international conference presentations, address themes such as AI ethics, regulatory governance, digital platform politics, and the shifting dynamics of global political and economic systems. She earned her Ph.D. and M.A. in Political Science from Seoul National University and her B.A. in Political Science and International Studies from Yonsei University. Prior to her current role, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Seoul National University’s Center for Intelligent Society and Policy (CISP) and worked as a management consultant at global firms including Deloitte Consulting and Arthur D. Little. She also gained professional experience through internships at the Presidential Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Korea. These diverse academic, professional, and policy experiences provide her with a distinctive interdisciplinary perspective that enriches her research on technology policy and governance.
